Naomi Wright is a producer / director working in film and television.

Naomi began her career as a researcher on arts documentaries. Since that time she has worked on a wide range of documentaries for Channel 4, ITV and the BBC. She specialises in shooting her own material, but also has experience of working with larger crews, both in the UK and internationally.

Naomi directed the last ever ‘South Bank Show’ on the Royal Shakespeare Company (ITV1 December 09) in which she followed the RSC over a period of 6 months as they launched their brand new Revolutions season. It got 5 stars in The Mail on Sunday and The Guardian called it “terrific”. Naomi also directed the infamous ‘Fearne and Peaches Geldof’ as part of ITV2's first ever ‘Fearne And...’ series. It was a big success and several more episodes have been commissioned.

Alongside her TV work, Naomi has written and directed several short fiction films. Her award-winning short ‘String’ has been screened at 14 international film festivals. Her last short film 'Join My Band' is on the festival circuit for 2011 - 12. Naomi is currently splitting her time between writing a feature film, working in TV production and looking after a young daughter.
